Anatomy of a Flaxie Pack

flax-seeds-honeyville-23 Every Flaxie Pack is made with 100% cotton fabric from the studios of some of America’s leading textile designers…so there’s one thing you can know about them right away– they’re cool-looking! But their beauty is more than skin-deep.

What’s inside?

Flaxie Packs contain only pure, American-grown flaxseed harvested on family farms out west, and contain no allergens, additives, preservatives or added fragrances. Packs are approximately two-thirds full so they stay pliable and soft—too much seed turns them into rocks!

Why flaxseed?

Moist heat is healing heat. And because these tiny, silken seeds are up to 40% oil, they provide long-lasting, gentle, moist heat with no unpleasant scent. Flaxseed weighs less and distributes more evenly than cheaper, water-based fillers like rice, corn and barley. Cheaper packs use combinations of water-based grains like rice, millet, hulls or beans. They dry out quickly, and sometimes start to smell like overcooked food. Gross! Don’t be fooled.

FLAXIE PACKS…More than just a pretty face!
