Meet Jim!
After nearly two years of retirement, Jim (husband, Dad, step-dad, PopPop and Grampa to various people in our blended family) was ready to get back to work. But not just any work. He wanted to do something different from his first careers– first as a medical technician, then as an investigator for the Food & Drug Administration. Something entrepreneurial seemed like just the ticket. So when we decided to launch Flaxie Packs, there was a perfect place on the org chart for a detail-oriented, methodical former Navy man like Himself. Hired!
Jim’s the guy behind the scenes who makes sure someone’s at the loading dock when a half ton of flaxseed arrives by truck from our friends at Purity Seed in South Dakota. He oversees production, tracks our inventory, pulls orders off the web site and makes sure each product is carefully packed and mailed promptly.
Do you live locally? Jim will even meet you at the Business Factory of Frederick and give you a little demo if you like.
AND because he’s such a dedicated guy, Jim will be at the Business Factory on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
