Looking for something new, fun and fall-like to do this Saturday, September 26th? Why not come see us at the 30th Annual New Cumberland Apple Festival at the New Cumberland Borough Park, Front & Bridge Streets in New Cumberland, PA 17070? (9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M).
This festival is a first for Flaxie Packs, but it has all the earmarks of a winner. It’s got a proven track record (30 years!) and rave reviews from vendors and shoppers alike. You’ll find crafters off all sorts, entertainment and food of all kinds, including apples prepared every way under the sun: candied, dumplings, fritters, pies…the list goes on and on!
New Cumberland looks to be about an hour and fifteen minutes or so from Frederick– a nice drive on an early fall day when the sky is that particular shade of cerulean blue and the leaves are just starting to show signs of color. Grab a friend, point your car north on Rt. 15, set the cruise control and put some music on in the car– before you know it, you’ll be there! (Please stop by and say hello if you do get to the Festival. As always at outdoor shows, we’ll be in the 10 x 10 tent with the bright yellow roof!
