Dillsburg Farmers Fair— Saturday, October 17th from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM at the Dillsburg Elementary School grounds
This annual celebration of all things rural and small-town includes an Arts and Crafts Fair that you won’t want to miss. The event will be held rain or shine on the grounds of the Dillsburg Elementary School on Saturday, 10/17 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Flaxie Packs is thrilled to be among the vendors selling their hand-crafted items!
You’ll find one-of-a-kind crafts made from wood, glass, fabric, stone, wire, ceramic, yarn and more, including garden ornaments, floral designs, seasonal decorations, unusual home furnishings, wreaths, baskets, scented candles, handpainted clothing, quilts, jewelry, purses, Teddy bears and leather goods.
This show is a first for us, but it looks like an easy drive from Frederick– straight up Rt. 15-North through the Catoctin foothills, which should be ablaze with fall color this weekend. Why not enjoy the fall foliage en route to the Farmers Fair, spend a day among the Americana and make a pitstop at the Catoctin Orchard Market on the way home for cider, apples and pumpkins? Temperatures are expected to be in the 50’s with abundant sunshine.
