We all went to school, right? We know what teachers do…right?
They spend nearly as much time with our kids as we do, so surely we understand how hard they work….right?
Wrong.
Shadow a teacher for just one “normal” day. Try to keep up while they design curricula, plan lessons, attend faculty meetings, review papers, create exams, prepare report cards, and monitor attendance. And that’s just the “official” stuff! Even thinking about all the extra stuff they do makes me want to take a nap.
